The witness didnt show up at todays hearing. She sent a motion to the trial chamber, and said that she couldnt attend because of her family situation and deteriorated health. The court decided to examine Mijac at a later stage.
Basic, a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is charged with abducting two civilians from a house in the village of Vardiste in April 1993. The burned bodies of the civilians were found a few days later.
The trial will continue on March 12.
